Accountabilities
- Lead the development and delivery of medium-complexity iOS initiatives from discovery through deployment, ensuring quality, scalability, and user impact.
- Design and implement accessible, maintainable, and performant mobile features using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and modern iOS architectural patterns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, analytics, and engineering to define and deliver practical solutions aligned with user and business goals.
- Improve application performance, testing practices, observability, and debugging capabilities to support long-term product reliability.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and collaborative problem-solving.
- Contribute to prioritization, technical planning, and continuous improvement of engineering standards and team processes.
- Support a transparent and inclusive engineering culture focused on feedback, ownership, and continuous learning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, STEM, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience building and maintaining iOS applications in production environments.
- Strong proficiency with Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and modern iOS development best practices.
- Solid understanding of mobile application architecture, performance optimization, scalability, and testing methodologies.
- Experience working in autonomous, fast-paced, and distributed engineering environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, balancing trade-offs, and driving pragmatic engineering decisions.
- Experience with cross-platform applications, webview integrations, AI-related tools, or open-source projects is considered a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with content management systems, collaborative platforms, or knowledge-sharing products is a plus.
- Ability to work at least four hours overlapping with 14:00 UTC to 21:00 UTC.
