Job Description

Location: Fully Remote (Candidates must be based in India)

Employment Type: 6month contract (2 openings)

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build secure, scalable software that integrates critical healthcare systems. You'll design highquality services in C#/.NET and work with standards like HL7, DICOM, and FHIR to deliver interoperable solutions used across global teams. This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in regulated environments and enjoy making complex systems reliable, performant, and easy to extend.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain backend services in .NET Core / .NET Framework with strong OOP and design patterns.
  • Develop APIs using gRPC and HTTP/REST; author clear documentation and unit tests.
  • Build containerized applications and contribute to serviceoriented architecture (SOA).
  • Collaborate across product, QA, and operations; mentor junior developers via code reviews.
  • Integrate healthcare interfaces (HL7/DICOM/FHIR) and support system interoperability.
  • Partner on SPA frontends (Angular/React) where needed to enable endtoend delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science/EE or related (Master's preferred).
  • 5+ years in software engineering across multiple stacks.
  • Proficiency in .NET Core/.NET Framework, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience with Angular or React (SPA), SOA, and containerization.
  • API development with gRPC and HTTP/REST; strong OOP/design patterns.
  • Desired: HL7/DICOM/FHIR; SDLC, source control, CI pipelines; Visual Studio.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
