Job Summary
Insight Global is hiring a Senior Software Engineer with strong backend and cloud expertise. This is a remote contract role for candidates who can start immediately and work EST hours. The ideal candidate will have experience with distributed systems, cloud platforms, and modern development practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend systems using Java, Scala, or Python
- Work with Big Data technologies and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Implement and manage distributed transactions across services
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)
- Develop and optimize microservices, domain services, or API gateways
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
