Job Summary

Insight Global is hiring a Senior Software Engineer with strong backend and cloud expertise. This is a remote contract role for candidates who can start immediately and work EST hours. The ideal candidate will have experience with distributed systems, cloud platforms, and modern development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend systems using Java, Scala, or Python
• Work with Big Data technologies and AWS cloud infrastructure
• Implement and manage distributed transactions across services
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)
• Develop and optimize microservices, domain services, or API gateways
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
