Job Description
System Engineer / Cloud Engineer:
An Azure Infrastructure Engineer designs, builds, and manages cloud infrastructure on the Microsoft Azure platform. They are responsible for ensuring the scalability, security, and reliability of Azure environments, implementing infrastructure as code, automating deployments, and maintaining infrastructure health. Their work often involves collaboration with development, security, and operations teams to align infrastructure with business needs and ensure optimal performance and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure Design and Implementation:
Designing, building, and maintaining Azure infrastructure solutions, including virtual networks, storage, compute, and other services. Experience of Infrastructure migration from On premise to Azure Cloud is preferred. Experience of Gateway, Load balancer, Virtual Network, Virtual Machine, App Services, Kubernetes, API management, Application Insight.
Solid knowledge and experience on .Net Application, Windows, Application deployment, Setting up sites in Azure, Blue Green Concept, Application Gateway setup, logs reading, troubleshooting etc
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Utilizing tools like Terraform, Ansible, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
Implementing automation pipelines for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
Setting up and managing infrastructure monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.
Implementing security best practices and ensuring compliance with relevant security frameworks and standards.
- Troubleshooting and Support:
Diagnosing and resolving infrastructure and deployment issues, providing support to development and operations teams. Must have prior development / deployment / maintenance experience of Microsoft family applications.
Creating and maintaining clear and comprehensive documentation for infrastructure designs, deployments, and operational procedures.
Working closely with other teams to ensure that infrastructure meets application requirements and business objectives.
