Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

Discovery, design, and migration of enterprise file shares from legacy file servers to OneDrive, SharePoint Online, and Azure Files. Responsible for file server assessment, target-state design, wave-based migration execution, governance compliance, user adoption, and legacy server decommissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct file server discovery, profiling, and migration readiness assessments.
• Design target-state solutions across file share categories and recommend appropriate Microsoft 365/Azure platforms.
• Plan and execute wave-based migrations with minimal business disruption.
• Perform UiPath robot regression testing and coordinate issue remediation.
• Migrate and update report storage repositories used by reporting and analytics tools.
• Ensure solutions meet Architecture and Governance standards and obtain required approvals.
• Lead governance-first migration activities, validation, and gated decommissioning of legacy servers.
• Develop end-user communications, training materials, and adoption support plans.
• Provide user support during migration and post-migration stabilization.
  
  

Required Experience

• Experience with SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Azure Files, and Microsoft 365.
• Strong knowledge of file share migrations, governance, and information management.
• Experience managing enterprise-scale migration projects and stakeholder engagement.
• Familiarity with automation platforms such as UiPath.
• Excellent communication, change management, and user support skills.
