Snapmint is reinventing credit for the next 200 Mn consumers by providing them freedom to buy what they want and pay for them in instalments without a credit card. About Role:

As an SDE- III Engineer, you will drive the development of scalable, reliable, and performant systems. You will work closely with product management, front-end engineers, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions while ensuring alignment with the company's technical and business goals.

Expereince: 5-8 Years

Location: Gurugram (Unitech Cyber Park, Sector 39)

Working Arrangement: 5 Days a week (Mon-Fri)

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and drive the design and architecture of complex backend systems
• Identify technical debt and drive long-term engineering improvements
• Make architecture-level decisions with cross-team impact
• Ensure system scalability, reliability, and security at scale
• Collaborate with stakeholders (product, infra, business) to align technical goals
• Conduct deep design and code reviews, and enforce standards
• Mentor junior engineers (SDE-1/2)

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5-8 years of experience in backend development with a proven track record of leading engineering teams.
• Strong experience with backend language ie. Node.js
• Experience working with databases (SQL, NoSQL), caching systems, and RESTful APIs.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/BTech) or related technical field
• Hands-on experience designing and scaling backend services and APIs
• Proven ability to own large systems end-to-end with minimal oversight
