Role Title: Senior Software Engineer I - Developer

Position Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Developer with a strong background in designing and developing scalable microservices and web services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical leadership, communication, and client management skills, and be comfortable working in Agile environments.

As a Senior Java Software Engineer, the candidate will play a key role in architecting and developing large-scale Distributed Systems and Application Platforms, working on high-performance, cloud-native microservices using Java 21+, Reactive Programming, Kubernetes, and AWS EKS

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture, design, and solutioning of large-scale Distributed Systems and Application Platforms, ensuring high availability, resilience, and scalability.
• Architect and develop microservices using Java, Spring Boot and WebFlux and Kafka.
• Lead technical planning, solutioning, and hands-on development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage tasks using JIRA.
• Conduct API Unit testing via Postman.
• Ensure performance, scalability, and security of applications.
• Establish and enforce best practices in DevOps, GitOps, and CI/CD pipelines using Harness , Jenkins, and GitHub.

Skill and Experience:

• 5 years of experience of strong experience building and scaling large-scale Distributed Systems and Application Platforms.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Swagger design.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor development teams.
• Deep understanding of Microservices Architecture, Event-Driven Design, DDD, and Kubernetes Patterns.
• Proven expertise in Concurrency, Java Virtual Threads, and Performance Optimization.
• Proficiency with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Couchbase).
• Proficiency in Monitoring tools like Splunk and Dynatrace

Desirable Skills:

• Monitoring: Splunk ,or Dynatrace
• Programming: Python

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect) are a plus.
