The
AI Software Engineer, Sr isresponsibleforbuilding custom applications and tools toachieve business outcomes. Theyleveragetheir understanding of technicalsolutionstooptimize
processes and improve the organizational productivity and efficiency.
This position reports to the Director, AI & Data Engineering and is part of the AI & Data Team located in Bengaluru, India and will be an on-site role.
In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To
- Develop, test, and deploy custom Python applications for predictive analytics, process automation, and data-driven decision supportto solve real-world problems in biotech
- Design, implement, and optimize low-level code for training and fine-tuning RAG models using OpenAI LLMs and related frameworks
- Integrate AI models with enterprise data sources, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure solutions
- Design, code, and test custom applicationsand scriptsusing industry-standard development systemsand practices
- Deliver functionality according totechnical specificationsto achieveexpectedbusiness outcomes
The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include
- Experience with programming languages: Python, JavaScript, Java, C# .NET
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices, including automated tools for build, test, and deployment (e.g., Azure DevOps)
- Strong experience in Agile Software Development, with a track record of delivering high-quality software in iterative cycles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Secure Code Development
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Strong understanding of data security, compliance, and governance frameworks
- Experience withAzure Databricks, Datalakes & equivalent SQL database systems
- Scrum Leadership, experience and ability to mentor teams on Agile principles
