About the Role:
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Backend Engineer who is strong in Java, Spring Boot, high-performance systems, and database-driven architectures. The person will work on complex backend systems, performance tuning, data consistency, and scalable microservices.
Experience: 4+ years in Java development
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance applications using Java, Spring, Hibernate, and MySQL.
- Architect and implement distributed systems and large-scale persistent solutions.
- Work extensively with Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis, and other relational and non-relational databases.
- Apply strong system design and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles to create clean, maintainable, and modular software architectures.
- Lead and drive large-scale codebase improvements, including refactoring and enforcing coding standards.
- Multithreading & Concurrency
- Mentor and guide team members to help them grow technically and deliver effectively.
- Strong experience in Java 11/17+ and Spring Boot.
- Comfortable building REST APIs for high-concurrency systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in D2C, FMCG, or unicorn startup environments is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, agile settings managing large-scale applications and data-heavy systems.
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture.
