Job description - IMS TESTING
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced IMS / VoLTE Engineer to design, deploy, and support IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) and VoLTE services. The candidate will work on core network elements including SBC and TAS to ensure high availability and performance of voice services over LTE/5G networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support IMS core network components
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot VoLTE services
- Work with Session Border Controllers (SBC) for routing, security, and interconnects
- Operate and support Telephony Application Server (TAS) for call features and services
- Perform call flow analysis using SIP/IMS protocols
- Monitor network performance and ensure service quality (QoS/QoE)
- Troubleshoot issues related to call drops, registration failures, and signaling
- Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams for issue resolution
- Participate in network upgrades, testing, and deployments
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of IMS architecture
- Hands-on experience with VoLTE call flows
- Knowledge of SIP, Diameter protocols
- Experience with SBC (e.g., Oracle, Ribbon, Ericsson, Nokia)
- Familiarity with TAS platforms
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Basic understanding of LTE/5G networks
