Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- 3 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Proficiency in Java, Typescript and databases.

Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and implementation of significant features, new services, or architectural improvements within the Guided Support Experience (GSE) platform, managing complex engineering challenges.
- Take ownership of substantial parts of the GSE system, ensuring features are delivered with high quality, on time, and are scalable and maintainable.
- Advocate and contribute to high standards in code quality, test coverage, system reliability, performance, and engineering best practices within the team.
- Collaborate with and influence Product Managers, UX Designers, Researchers, and other Engineering teams to define solutions and drive technical alignment for complex projects.
- Identify, analyze, and solve complex technical problems, and provide technical guidance and mentorship to other Engineers on the team.
