The Impact You Will Make
In this role, you will design, build, and scale high-performance backend systems and cloud-native platforms using Golang and modern distributed systems technologies.
You will work on engineering complex, data-intensive products that directly create measurable value for enterprise customers.
Your work will involve building scalable APIs, distributed services, event-driven systems, reliable data pipelines, and high-throughput backend components that support AI-native SaaS products.
You will also contribute to architectural decisions, system design, performance optimization, and engineering best practices across the platform.
What Lands You In This Role
Must Have
- 4+ years of hands-on backend engineering experience, with strong experience in Golang.
- Strong command over Go fundamentals including goroutines, channels, context, interfaces, error handling, memory management, concurrency patterns, and performance profiling.
- Experience building production-grade RESTful APIs, gRPC services, and microservices using Go frameworks such as Gin, Echo, Fiber, Chi, or similar.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems concepts such as service discovery, load balancing, retries, timeouts, circuit breakers, idempotency, consistency, replication, partitioning, sharding, and fault tolerance.
- Experience designing and developing scalable, low-latency, high-throughput backend systems.
- Good knowledge of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and clean coding practices.
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar.
- Good understanding of containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud-native development on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills.
- Ability to reason about system behavior under scale, failure, high concurrency, and large data volumes.
Good to Have
- Experience with AI/ML-driven systems, data-intensive applications, forecasting platforms, pricing engines, or planning systems.
- Exposure to stream processing technologies such as Kafka Streams, or similar.
- Experience with columnar databases or analytical systems such as ClickHouse, BigQuery.
