About The Role
You will join the Expert Retention team, responsible for rewards, incentives, community, communication and support the systems that keep experts active and engaged on the Arbolus platform.
This is a full-stack product engineering role. You'll work across React, .NET, PostgreSQL and AWS, building features used daily by our experts. You'll also be expected to understand the business impact of what you build and use data to guide decisions.
We are an AI-forward team. We expect engineers to use tools like Claude, Cursor, Codex and MCPs as part of their daily workflow to move faster and build better.
Key Responsibilities You Will Be In Charge Of
- Owning features end-to-end: design, implementation, release and iteration.
- Working with Product and Data to turn business goals into shipped solutions.
- Using metrics and experiments to improve retention and engagement.
This role directly reports to the Engineering Manager and is based in our Gurgaon office.
Requirements To Succeed In This Role
We are looking for curious, ambitious people who are excited by the challenge of helping a scale-up transition from a service-led model to a data-focused company.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
- Strong in .NET, PostgreSQL and React.
- Comfortable working with AWS, Docker and GitHub.
- Actively uses AI-powered developer tools in daily work.
- Used to owning features in production, not just writing code.
- Able to make decisions based on data and business metrics.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid, cross-location team
