Marketplace Engineering team is at the forefront of building core platforms and services to enable Walmart to deliver vast selection at competitive prices and with best in class post-order experience by enabling third-party sellers to list, sell and manage their products to our customers on walmart.com . We do this by managing the entire seller lifecycle, monitoring customer experience, and delivering high-value insights to our sellers to help them plan their assortment, price, inventory. The team also actively collaborates with partner platform teams to ensure we continue to deliver the best experience to our sellers and our customers.

What you will do:

• Apply and/or develop ML solutions to develop efficient and scalable models at Walmart scale.
• Through this role you have an opportunity to develop intuitive software that meets and exceeds the needs of the customer and the company.
• You also get to collaborate with team members to develop best practices and requirements for the software.
• In this role it would be important for you to professionally maintain all codes and create updates regularly to address the customer's and company's concerns.
• You will show your skills in analysing and testing programs/products before formal launch to ensure flawless performance.
• Troubleshooting coding problems quickly and efficiently will offer you a chance to grow your skills in a high-pace, high-impact environment.
• Software security is of prime importance and by developing programs that monitor sharing of private information, you will be able to add tremendous credibility to your work.
• You will also be required to seek ways to improve the software and its effectiveness.
• Adhere to Company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity

What you will bring:

• Preferably 6-10 years of experience
• React JS is mandate
• B. Tech. / M. Tech. / Ph. D. in Computer Science or closely related fields
• Strong computer science fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, databases, operating systems, etc.
• Expert coding skills in Java Script technologies and web technologies like React JS, HTML, CSS3 AJAX, React, Redux, Webpack, Javascript, TyoeScript, and software implementation best practices
• Worked on containerized ecosystems (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Expertise in SQL, Cosmos
• Must have experience building a large-scale distributed cloud application
• Must have very good exposure to System Design
• Good to have worked in Azure Cloud
• Excellent Engineering Rigor code quality, performance tuning, operational excellence, etc.
• Knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, collections, OOAD, and design patterns
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development, Writing Integration/Unit Test
• Understanding of Various tools for Static Code Analyser, and Security Scan i. e. SonarQube, Chek Mark, etc.
• Experience in creating performing, highly scalable, and distributed middle-tier frameworks, preferably using event-driven architecture
• Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Excellent knowledge of Relational, SQL.
• Experience with NOSQL databases (like MongoDB), cache implementation (like Redis or ehCach)
• Experience with microservice architecture, RESTful web services, JSON, XML
• Understanding of Microservices based architecture and Domain Driven Design
• Experience with CI/CD and related tools (e. g. Git, Gerrit, GitHub, Maven, Ant, Jenkins) in Dev, QA, Staging, and Prod environments.
• Exposure working in any Cloud Platform i. e. Azure, AWS or GCP.
