Senior Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript

• Develop and maintain RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs

• Collaborate with frontend teams using React to build efficient user-facing features

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code

• Optimize performance across APIs, services, and databases

• Contribute to system design and architecture decisions

• Participate in code reviews and improve engineering standards

• Work with DevOps to improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript

• Experience building scalable backend systems and APIs

• Solid understanding of React or fullstack development

• Good knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL or NoSQL) and performance optimization

• Experience with REST and/or GraphQL API design

• Familiarity with Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines

• Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with Redis (caching, rate limiting)

• Familiarity with Docker and containerization

• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms

• Understanding of microservices or distributed systems

• Knowledge of security best practices and authentication systems

• Experience with event-driven architectures or message queues
