About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to design and build scalable backend systems that power our AI and low-code platform ecosystem. You will work closely with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to architect robust APIs, data services, and platform components capable of handling enterprise-scale workloads. This role requires strong backend engineering expertise, system design capabilities, and experience building high-performance, scalable distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Architect robust backend systems to support enterprise-grade applications and automation workflows.
• Build and optimize microservices-based architectures.
• Develop RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs for internal and external integrations.
• Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) to ensure data consistency, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of backend systems.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and observability for backend services.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmap planning.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js or Go.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Solid understanding of system design, distributed systems, and scalable architectures.
• Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong knowledge of authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
• Proficiency in Git and modern development workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Strong DSA and problem-solving skills.
• Experience building scalable backend systems, platform products, or developer platforms.
• Exposure to AI/ML platforms or LLM-based systems (good to have).
• Experience working with low-code, workflow automation, or integration platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with high-throughput and distributed systems, along with performance optimization.
