Senior Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, shippable products in alignment with project scope, ensuring measurable and continuously improving quality with each release
• Provide technical leadership to a team of developers, enforcing software engineering best practices
• Drive agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews, demos, and release planning
• Ensure agile principles such as collaboration, team accountability, prioritization, and transparency are embedded in daily practices
• Take ownership of project tasks and ensure team members are equipped and supported to deliver effectively
• Contribute to or prepare project status reports for senior management
• Proactively identify and address project risks and issues to maintain productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction

Required Experience

• 5–7 years of experience in IT application or software development
• Strong hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, especially MVP-based delivery
• Experience in leading eCommerce or portal development projects, including deployment and maintenance
• Exposure to multi-platform mobile application development is a plus
• Minimum 2 years of onsite experience (US, UK, or Europe) preferred
• Experience in the Healthcare or Life Sciences domain is highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability to be self-managed, independent, and assertive in seeking clarity and driving outcomes

Technology Skills

• Proficient in .NET, C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web Services, WCF REST, Web API
• Working knowledge of Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap
• Strong experience with MS SQL databases
• Familiarity with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) or MSMQ (Message Queuing)
• Exposure to Microservices architecture is an added advantage
