The platform offers private, guided 12-minute text or voice conversations, delivering personalized insights to help individuals better understand their mental health challenges. Built with input from over 300 psychologists, eeKee AI leverages evidence-based frameworks including CBT, ACT, Logotherapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Positive Psychology. It serves as a first layer of support before employees turn to EAPs or clinical providers, using crisis detection to connect individuals to appropriate resources when necessary. Designed specifically for employers, eeKee AI safeguards individual privacy while providing anonymized insights to help organizations reduce costs linked to burnout, disengagement, and preventable mental health claims.

Role Description: The Senior Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable systems that power eeKee AI's proactive mental health platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include architecting and implementing back-end services and APIs, optimizing system performance, ensuring data security and reliability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product, data science, and clinical experts.

Actively tune our AI model, build marketing automation pipelines, setup test automations & wear multiple hats in an early engineering team.

The role involves translating business and user requirements into robust technical solutions, conducting code reviews, mentoring other engineers, and improving development processes and tooling. This is a full-time, on-site position based in the Bengaluru, India working closely with the core team to deliver impactful features for employers and employees.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software architecture principles.
• Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience building production-grade applications and services.
• Hands-on expertise in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, databases, and cloud-native environments.
• Solid understanding and practical application of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with modern development stacks (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, or similar), relational and NoSQL databases, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of security, privacy, and compliance best practices, particularly relevant to handling sensitive user data.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in an on-site team environment, communicate clearly, and mentor peers in engineering best practices.
• Prior experience in health tech, AI/ML-driven products, or B2B SaaS platforms is a plus.
