Senior Software Engineer, Development

Job Description

Responsibilities for External Candidates  

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API.
• Build responsive front-end solutions using JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, React, or Blazor.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver business requirements.
• Develop clean, scalable, and maintainable code following engineering best practices.
• Work with SQL Server, REST APIs, and microservices-based applications.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for efficient software delivery.
• Leverage GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, or similar AI tools to improve productivity, code quality, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Explore and adopt relevant AI technologies to enhance engineering processes and product capabilities.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and mentor junior engineers.
  
  

Responsibilities

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server, Entity Framework, and LINQ.
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, design patterns, and Agile methodologies.
• Exposure to Azure Cloud and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of AI and Generative AI concepts, including LLMs, prompt engineering, and Responsible AI practices.
• Experience using GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, or similar AI-assisted development tools.
• Ability to validate AI-generated outputs while ensuring security, privacy, and quality standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4-8 years of hands-on software development experience.
