Job Description
Responsibilities :
You will assist the team with our current primary focus of onboarding data to cloud native DWH (snowflake) and decomissioning of on-prem DWH. It includes following tasks on high level.
- Analyze source data (Azure data lake) and derive insights sufficient enough to define optimal data model.
- Design RAW & business vault layer using Data Vault 2.0 modelling approach.
- Design Datamat layer using dimensional modelling approach.
- Source data from ADL and load it through different layers using Airflow dags.
- Ensure solid code quality and efficient data loading performance
Your profile :
To be successful in your role, we expect that you:
- Have 5+ years of experience with Data Warehousing.
- Have extensive development experience on Snowflake and understanding of the platform.
- Have intermediate level knowledge of Data Vault 2.0 modelling.
- Have worked on creating Airflow dags and intermediate level knowledge of Python.
- A team player and able to effectively communicate with peers and stakeholders.
Nice to have skills:
- Working experience with a cloud platform (preferably Azure)
- Experience with C# programming.
- Previous experience working in the financial industry.
