The is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality, high-performance software solutions for the Flow Cytometry instruments.

This position reports to the Flow Software Manager and is part of the India Development Center Software R&D team located in Bengaluru and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop software for life science instruments within a collaborative team environment
  • Execute all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, integration, testing, and documentation, in compliance with company QMS procedures
  • Take ownership of the design and implementation of software modules
  • Perform quality assurance activities such as risk analysis, technical reviews, and code inspections
  • Support software maintenance and drive continuous enhancements
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes
  • Work in an iterative product release environment with a strong focus on quality and timely delivery

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in commercial software development, with hands-on expertise in C# or C++
  • Strong understanding of software design principles, with the ability to work effectively as an AI-enabled developer
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams as a strong team player
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Software development processes in a regulated environment such as the life sciences / medical device domain
  • Experience using MFC
  • Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD
