About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to build secure, scalable products for enterprise developers, DevOps and infrastructure teams. You will own features from requirements and design through to production.

What You Will Do

• Own product features end to end: requirements, design, build, test, deploy and support.
• Lead technical decisions, review code and mentor engineers.
• Build backend services, APIs and frontends using JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React.js and NestJS. You will also work with Rust where needed.
• Design and optimise data models and queries (ClickHouse, SQL and NoSQL).
• Build software supply-chain security features: provenance, dependency analysis, vulnerability management and artifact integrity.
• Build and optimise container images and Kubernetes integrations.
• Automate delivery with GCP, Argo CD and CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with product, security, developer and infrastructure teams, and improve reliability and developer experience.
  
  

Must have

• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript, with hands-on Node.js, React.js and NestJS.
• Basic understanding of Rust (willingness to learn and grow in it).
• Solid fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, design principles, and scalable, fault-tolerant systems.
• Strong SQL (query optimisation, indexing, schema design). ClickHouse or other analytical database experience is a plus.
• Understanding of software supply-chain security: SLSA, provenance, SBOMs, and CVE and OSV vulnerability data.
• Understanding of package managers, dependency resolution, SemVer and transitive dependencies.
• Docker and container image knowledge: multi-stage builds, layers, minimal base images and image security.
• Kubernetes basics, GitOps with Argo CD, and troubleshooting workloads.
• Familiarity with GCP, Git, Jira and CI/CD.
• Comfortable using AI tools across the development cycle, and able to check AI-written code for quality and security.
