Job Description
Vista is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for our HR Technology team to design and support high-scale interfaces for our proprietary platform. You will focus on building secured RESTful APIs and managing complex integrations between enterprise systems and external partners. Operating in an Agile environment with frequent production releases, you will collaborate with global teams to document requirements, perform functional testing, and ensure the performance of core services. This role is ideal for a developer who thrives on solving large-scale technical problems while providing critical support and system tuning for global business operations.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for HR technology
- Build cloud-native, distributed systems with a focus on scalability, reliability, and data integrity
- Design and implement scalable automation frameworks
- Optimize engineering velocity and code quality by leveraging AI-assisted development tools
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and partner teams to translate business needs into well-designed technical solutions
- Take ownership of features from design through production, including operational readiness
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making
- Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve system resilience and performance
- Contribute to automated testing and CI/CD practices
- Active participation in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience with relevant tools and languages, specifically C#
- Experience operating high-traffic, business-critical systems
- Proficiency in using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Gemini)
- Experience in cloud services(AWS Preferred)
- Proven ability to automate workflows and build robust testing suites
- Hands-on experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- A proactive learner with a passion for mastering and implementing emerging technologies
- Analytical thinker who solves complex challenges with creative, scalable solutions
- Thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced environments through rapid learning and experimentation
- Exceptional communicator who effectively influences cross-functional teams Nice To Have
- Prior experience in the Human Resources domain
- Basic background in SAP technologies, such as BTP
