Senior Software Engineer

What you'll do (role and responsibilities)

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices to support global business operations and internal platforms.
• Architect and implement high-throughput message queues and bulk data processing pipelines to ensure system resilience and efficiency.
• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI capabilities into internal workflows to automate complex business processes.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of technical modules, from initial system design through to deployment and production support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and product managers to translate evolving business requirements into scalable technical specifications.
• Build and optimize secure REST APIs to facilitate reliable data exchange across the global enterprise ecosystem.
• Maintain high engineering standards by writing clean, testable code and participating in rigorous peer design and code reviews.
• Analyze and resolve technical challenges within production environments to ensure consistent system availability and performance.

What you'll bring (required skills and experience)

• 3+ years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on Java.
• 3+ years of experience building and deploying microservices in a cloud-based environment.
• Proven expertise in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Demonstrated experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor to accelerate delivery and code quality.
• Practical experience integrating LLM APIs into production-grade applications.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and distributed system design patterns.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to solving complex problems.

Nice to have (preferred)

• Experience with prompt engineering and fine-tuning LLMs for specific business use cases.
• Proficiency with AWS cloud infrastructure and managed services.
• Previous experience working within high-growth B2B SaaS or enterprise subscription platforms.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and message brokers.
