Your Role
As a Blue Yonder WMS Discrete Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, customizing, and supporting Blue Yonder WMS Discrete solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to deliver robust warehouse management solutions and ensure smooth integrations with upstream and downstream systems.
In this role, you will:
- Manage customization of Blue Yonder WMS Discrete applications
- Handle data integrations (inbound and outbound), troubleshoot issues/errors, and provide timely support adhering to defined SLAs
- Conduct and lead business process analysis, design, and deployment phases of projects
- Develop functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, reports, and screens
- Design and document business workflows and process flows to ensure accurate application mapping throughout the project lifecycle
- Act as a functional liaison between Project Managers, Solution Architects, technical teams, and customer stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to design and deliver transition and integration interfaces with other enterprise systems
- Support end-to-end solution design, including functional and technical design documentation
- Provide user training and knowledge transfer during pre-implementation, Go-Live, and post Go-Live phases
- Actively participate in key project meetings and contribute to decision-making with customer leadership and executive sponsors
Primary Skills & Technical Expertise
- Strong functional and system development experience in Blue Yonder WMS Discrete, including:
- WMS Discrete Configuration
- MOCA scripting
- Page Builder / RF Form Customization
- Integrations and data handling
- Hands-on experience with:
- Java API
- SQL / PL-SQL
- Good understanding of Warehouse Management processes and system integrations
Good to Have
- Experience with TMS configuration and setup
- Exposure to multi-system enterprise integrations
- Prior experience working in large-scale implementation or upgrade programs
Your Profile
- 4+ years of experience working as a Blue Yonder WMS Discrete Consultant / Developer
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and global teams
- Experience in client-facing roles and high-ownership delivery environments
