BlackLine¯SaaS is the system of interaction for finance and accounting teams and it integrates with numerous ERPs, CRMs, Payment systems, Point of Sale systems and other applications. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to own complex features, mentor team members, and drive technical direction. This is a hands-on position focused on system ownership and architectural impact.

Key Responsibilities
- System Ownership: Design, build, and maintain scalable services from conception to production.
- Technical Leadership: Act as a force multiplier by conducting high-value code reviews and setting engineering standards.
- Ambiguity Management: Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable technical designs.
- Operational Excellence: Lead incident response and maintain high system reliability and observability.
What You'll Bring
Education: Master's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science or related disciplines Required Qualifications:
- - Experience: 6+ years of professional software development.
- Technical Foundation: Deep experience in ecosystems such as .NET or Python, but not limited to these languages. We prioritize polyglot proficiency and architectural mastery over specific syntax.
- Architectural Fluency: Ability to evaluate trade-offs in database design, distributed systems, and framework selection.
- Communication: Proven ability to distill complex technical hurdles into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
