Overview:
We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and scale cloud-native microservices with Java and AWS — with a strong focus on integrating AI/ML capabilities into production systems. You'll shape architecture decisions, ship high-impact features, and mentor fellow engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build scalable microservices using Java 17+, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
- Architect cloud-native solutions on AWS (ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, SQS/SNS).
- Integrate AI/ML models into services using Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, or LLM APIs; build RAG pipelines and prompt engineering workflows.
- Own CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes), and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CDK).
- Drive engineering best practices through code reviews, design discussions, and mentoring.
- Implement observability — logging, distributed tracing, monitoring, and alerting.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in Java backend development with Spring Boot and microservices at scale.
- Strong hands-on AWS experience across compute, storage, messaging, and security services.
- Practical experience integrating AI/ML models or LLM-powered features into applications.
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, and IaC frameworks.
- Solid knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
- Excellent communication and collaborative problem-solving skills.
