Data Strategy & Applied Business Acumen

• Understand and apply data strategy principles to routine business problems.
• Translate business problems into data or mathematical solutions using analytics, automation, or big data techniques.
• Provide recommendations to business stakeholders for complex issues, develop business cases, and suggest process improvements.

Data Transformation & Integration

• Extract data from multiple databases and create pipelines to transform data into relevant structures.
• Identify suitable data sources and perform initial quality checks.
• Develop efficient data flows to meet business requirements.

Data Modelling

• Analyze complex data elements, systems, flows, and dependencies.
• Develop logical and physical data models, including data warehouse and data mart designs.
• Define relational tables, primary and foreign keys, and stored procedures.
• Evaluate existing models for discrepancies and propose improvements.

Code Development & Testing

• Write high-quality code in languages such as Java, Python, or Scala to develop required features.
• Create test cases, proofs of concept, and automated tests to ensure correctness.
• Deploy software to production, maintain playbooks, and document code.

Data Governance

• Establish, document, and implement data governance practices.
• Ensure compliance with company and regulatory data policies.
• Educate stakeholders on governance processes and recommend updates as needed.

Problem Formulation & Technical Guidance

• Identify suitable analytical or engineering methods for solving business problems.
• Share use cases to demonstrate how proposed solutions address business needs.
