Job Purpose
Responsible for assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and efficient databases to support business applications and systems. Collaborate with team members to ensure data accuracy, optimize database performance, and follow database design best practices. Support the implementation of solutions that improve system functionality and contribute to delivering a better experience for users and customers.
Duties And Responsibilities
Primary role revolves around designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient and scalable database deliveries to support the organization's applications and systems.
- To understand business logic from PMO team and convert it into technical specification.
- Responsible for project deliveries on time.
- To provide support with resolution for all critical processes related to Lending & Collection Platform and Integration processes.
- Responsible for addressing all issues within defined SLA.
- Responsible for building up data integration module between different systems.
- Responsible for building maintaining data quality.
- Responsible for preparing processes and best practices in day-to-day activities and get it implemented by team.
- Interface with business users and product managers to satisfy day-to-day data needs as well as to lead and build the overall delivery strategy.
- Provide timely guidance to team.
- Responsible for addressing all performance-related issues in programs.
- Define and manage SLAs for all jobs, reports and schedule tasks.
- Work with Development team to identify issues and drive to resolution.
Ability to manage workloads by setting priorities, planning, and monitoring progress, ensuring meeting deadlines and budgets
Capabilities
- Knowledge of database development in SQL Server Oracle or PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of SQL queries, database design
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Required Qualifications And Experience
- Graduation in engineering or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to turn complex data and insights into easily understood data stories
- Work Experience
- 2-4 years of experience in database design in finance and banking industry, preferably in a fintech
- Good to have experience in working on large, complex database design projects
- Ability to efficiently write database code without compromising data quality, privacy or security.
- Knowledge of database design principles, query optimization, index management and integrity checks
- Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
