Senior Software Engineer ( Backend )

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code
• Work in alignment with the organization goals to ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
• Ccontribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Identify the bottlenecks, bugs in the applications and devise solutions to these problems
• Maintain code quality and improve automations
• Develop SQL for application
• Write automated unit, functional and integration tests as needed
• Participate in code reviews with the team
• Perform various Proofs-of-concept depending on the business needs
• Assist with production support and release

Who we are looking for :

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency in Java, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems and object-oriented programming
• 5+ years of experience in Java development, with a focus on Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Have a profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc.)
• Aware of various design and architectural patterns
• Can write unit tests
• Hands-on experience with databases (SQL).
• Proficiency in tools like Git, Maven, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead technical discussions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
