Senior Software Engineer - Backend

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Build microservices and event-driven architectures for AI-powered applications.
• Develop secure and performant RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Implement authentication, authorization, rate limiting, and monitoring.
• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) from providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or open-source models.
• Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
• Design and maintain vector search and semantic retrieval systems.
• Develop AI agent orchestration workflows and tool integrations.
• Optimize inference latency, throughput, and operational costs.
• Design efficient database schemas and data pipelines.
• Manage structured and unstructured data used by AI systems.
• Implement caching, queueing, and asynchronous processing workflows.
• Build observability, logging, and monitoring solutions for AI service

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Node.js, Go, Java, or similar backend languages.
• Experience designing and building production APIs.
• Strong knowledge of databases:
• PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar relational databases
• Redis or caching systems
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes (preferred)
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and system design.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated testing. Ability to analyze logs, troubleshoot issues, and validate backend data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.
• Experience with vector databases.
