About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SDE 2 – Backend (Node.js) to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development experience and be comfortable working on scalable, high-performance systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Collaborate with frontend, product, QA, and other engineering teams.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve application performance.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and system design.

Required Skills

• 2–5 years of experience in backend development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and backend architecture.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Good understanding of Git, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with AWS/cloud platforms.
• Experience working with high-scale or transaction-heavy applications.
• Exposure to gaming, fintech, e-commerce, or other consumer-facing products.
