Job Location: Infopark, Kochi 

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ASP.NET MVC Developer with 8+ years of experience to maintain and enhance our existing web application. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for developing new modules, creating APIs for mobile applications, and managing integrations with multiple applications.

Additionally, the candidate will mentor junior developers, provide technical leadership, and ensure best practices are followed. In this role, you will collaborate closely with project managers and occasionally handle end-user support tickets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Application Maintenance and Support:

·      Maintain and enhance existing modules of the ASP.NET MVC application.

·      Debug and troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless application performance.

2. New Module Development:

·      Develop and integrate new features and modules based on project requirements.

·      Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code using ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, and jQuery.

3. API Development:

·      Design and implement RESTful APIs for integration with mobile applications.

·      Ensure APIs are secure, efficient, and align with best practices.

4. Database Management:

·      Work with MSSQL to design, query, and manage database structures.

·      Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity.

5. Application Integration:

·      Integrate the application with third-party tools and platforms as required.

·      Manage and support existing integrations.

6. Team Leadership and Mentorship:

·      Mentor junior developers, provide technical guidance, and conduct code reviews.

·      Foster a culture of learning and collaboration within the development team.

7. Collaboration and Coordination:

·      Collaborate with project managers to define and prioritize tasks.

·      Provide technical guidance and status updates during development cycles.

8. End-User Support:

·      Respond to and resolve end-user support tickets related to the application.

·      Communicate effectively with non-technical users to understand and address their concerns.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

•          8+ years of experience with ASP.NET MVC framework.

•          Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, and front-end technologies.

•          Expertise in MSSQL, including stored procedures, queries, and optimization techniques.

•          Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.

•          Familiarity with application integration and third-party tools.

•          Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

•          Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

•          Proven ability to mentor and guide junior developers.

•          Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

•          Experience with mobile application development or integration.

•          Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks ( React) is a plus.

•          Exposure to Agile development methodologies.

•          Prior experience in providing user support.
