Senior Software Engineer- ARP, PDX

Overview

• Build and maintain core components of the Eval platform: pieces of the virtualization/harness layer, the agent plan-and-execute engine, and telemetry pipelines.
• Contribute to per-step model orchestration and routing logic as Eval moves from a single static model per run to dynamic, cost-aware model switching.
• Implement and refine friction-detection rules and the Jira auto-ticketing integration that files reports when an agent hits missing docs or APIs.
• Work with capability teams and the Operations/Adoption team to validate that use cases are correctly normalized into the agent-readable format.
• Maintain the CI/CD regression re-run pipeline so resolved use cases stay agent-ready over time.
• Write production-quality code and tests, participate actively in design and code reviews, and document your work clearly for the team.
  
  

Responsibilities

• 5–8 years of professional software engineering experience, with solid grounding in distributed systems or backend platform development.
• Hands-on proficiency with Python and Java (Spring Boot); working knowledge of GraphQL for API design and React for internal tooling UIs.
• Exposure to LLM/agent tooling, or strong applied AI/prompting aptitude and demonstrated ability to ramp quickly on new agent-orchestration patterns.
• Strong CS fundamentals and testing discipline; comfortable owning a well-scoped platform component independently.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience with virtualization/sandboxing, CI/CD pipelines, or Jira API integrations.
• Familiarity with RAG pipelines, vector databases, or policy-as-code.
• Prior experience on a developer-platform or internal-tooling team.
