About the Role 

We're looking for an exceptional Senior Software Engineer with deep backend expertise and strong solution architecture capabilities. 

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys designing robust systems, solving complex technical problems and building software that scales. While you'll contribute across the full stack, your primary strength should be backend engineering, distributed systems, APIs, integrations and technical architecture. 

You'll work directly with the founders to shape the technical direction of the platform, influence architectural decisions and build software that serves enterprise customers. 

What You'll Be Responsible For 

● Design and develop scalable backend services and enterprise-grade APIs. 

● Architect solutions that are secure, maintainable and built for long-term scale. 

● Build complex integrations with ERP, PIM, eCommerce, authentication and third-party platforms. 

● Own technical design from requirements through to production deployment. 

● Optimise database performance, application scalability and system reliability. 

● Drive engineering best practices across code quality, testing and observability. 

● Collaborate closely with Product to translate business problems into elegant technical solutions. 

● Evaluate and introduce new technologies that improve developer productivity and platform capability. Contribute to AI-powered capabilities, workflow automation and intelligent product features. 

What We're Looking For 

● 6 - 10+ years experience building commercial SaaS or enterprise software. 

● Strong expertise in backend development using Node.js and TypeScript. 

● Understanding of distributed systems, API design and microservice architecture. 

● Experience designing complex data models and working with PostgreSQL or other relational databases. 

● Experience building secure, high-performance REST APIs.. 

● Experience integrating with external enterprise systems and APIs. 

● Ability to independently own large technical initiatives from design through delivery. 

● Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
