Role:Senior Network Software Engineer - Multicast

Experience: 7 Years to 14 Years

Education: BE/Btech/ME/MTECH.

Job requirement:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Network Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our cutting-edge networking products. In this role, you will be a key player in designing, developing, and maintaining our L2/L3 multicast features.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance L2/L3 multicast functionalities for our network devices.
• Implement and optimize protocols such as IGMPv2/v3 and PIM.
• Work with complex network topologies, demonstrating a strong understanding of Designated Router (DR) and Non-DR roles in multicast environments.
• Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code primarily in C/C++ and Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and troubleshoot issues.
• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to debug and resolve complex network problems.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in L2/L3 multicast development.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with IGMPv2/v3 and PIM protocols.
• Solid understanding of multicast network topology concepts, including DR and Non-DR roles.
• Proficiency in programming with C/C++ and Python.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
