At OrbitShift, we are building the world's first AI-native Sales Operating System, trusted by enterprise teams to accelerate their GTM motion. Our multi-agent AI system enables actionable account insights, RFP response generation, targeted nudges, and sales content. Backed by Peak XV (formerly Sequoia Capital), Stellaris Venture Partners, and other marquee investors, we are a fast-growing, 3-year-old startup with a team from Amazon, McKinsey, IIT, and Stanford. Now, we are looking for a hands-on Software Engineer – Agentic Platforms to architect and scale the next frontier - agentic AI systems for enterprise sales.

Role Overview

As Senior Software Engineer – Agentic Platforms, you will take end-to-end ownership of designing and building the foundational architecture for multi-agent AI systems at OrbitShift. This is a high-impact role where you'll combine cutting-edge research with practical engineering to bring agent-based reasoning, orchestration, and automation into our enterprise-grade platform.

You'll be hands-on with code, while also shaping technical direction, and evaluating new frameworks. Your work will directly influence how thousands of enterprise users experience AI in their daily sales workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect & Build: Design and implement the core architecture for agentic AI platforms, including multi-agent workflows, orchestration layers, and reasoning pipelines. You will be working with coding agents such as Claude, Cursor, etc.
  • Data & Infrastructure: Build and optimize data pipelines for ingestion, training, and real-time serving. Seamlessly embed AI services into OrbitShift products.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously refine models for accuracy, latency, and enterprise-scale reliability.
  • Innovation & Leadership: Stay ahead of emerging frameworks and bring the best into production.Set technical standards, lead design reviews, and mentor junior engineers in AI engineering best practices.

What We're Looking For

  • Education: B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science from a premier institute
  • Experience: 4–8 years of hands-on experience with coding agents and proven impact in building production systems.

Technical Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs), including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), multi-agent orchestration, and fine-tuning (good-to-have).
  • Familiarity with agent frameworks (LangChain, ADK, etc).
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native deployments (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Strong grounding in data structures, algorithms, and system design with the ability to make architectural trade-offs.
  • (Preferred) Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS), workflow orchestration, and LLMOps practices (monitoring, evaluation, guardrails).
