Senior Software Engineer

Summary:

The requirement is for a candidate to join the fraud team, focusing on solutions built around IBM ODM, with strong exposure to AI and GenAI technologies. This is an Individual Contributor (IC) role.

Responsibilities:

• Independently execute key elements of projects/processes within the Software Engineering area by applying in-depth knowledge of their discipline and area best practices to effectively resolve problems and roadblocks as they occur.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of high-quality, scalable software solutions, supporting security and operational resilience with guidance.
• Participate in code reviews, providing feedback to help uphold quality standards and best practices.
• Assist in designing, developing, and delivering software solutions that align with business needs and organizational standards, with oversight.
• Create and maintain technical artifacts, such as requirements documents, design specifications, and test plans, supporting project documentation efforts.
• Support system maintenance activities, including incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution in production environments, with supervision.
• Assist in evaluating emerging technologies and frameworks, supporting Proof of Concept (PoC) efforts and solution assessments.
• Contribute to solution and technology roadmaps, providing input to support strategic planning and innovation initiatives.
• May contribute to solution development for new products/services and/or manage smaller projects/initiatives as an experienced individual contributor with specialized knowledge within the Software Engineering area.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in GenAI and fraud domain.
• Minimum 5 years of overall experience.

Required Skills:

• Strong fraud domain experience.
• Hands-on experience with IBM ODM.
• Experience in AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLM) and Generative AI.
• Proficiency in Java and Python.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with Relational Databases: PostgreSQL and Oracle.
• Experience with Non-SQL Databases: Cassandra and MongoDB.
• Cloud experience with AWS and Azure.
• Mandatory AI experience.
• Candidates from a financial services background.
