Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer ( Abinitio and Teradata Developer)
In This Role, You Will
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications
- 4+ years of overall IT experience.
- Strong hands-on experience on Abinitio and Teradata.
- Good understanding of software design patterns and structured programming concepts.
- Practical experience with SDLC, both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Strong understanding of coding standards, best practices, and review processes.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problemsolving skills.
- Experience working with or supporting teams across multiple geographic regions.
- Proven ability to take ownership and accountability for assigned modules, including design, development and production support.
- Knowledge of test automation
- Experience working in offshore-onshore model is preferred
- Experience working in Banking domain
- Experience in AI solutions

- Work within an Agile environment and contribute to development activities using CI/CD pipelines.

- Assist in preparing programming specifications and complete development tasks for enhancing existing programs or building moderately complex new ones.
- Perform application testing and debugging, including writing queries or scripts to extract, validate, and analyze data.
- Update relevant documentation, procedures and technical artifacts.
- Contribute to strong client relationships by understanding customer needs and aligning solutions to their goals.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, business analysts and distributed application teams.
