We are looking for an engineer to work on a telecom R&D project developing 4G/5G small-cell solutions. The role focuses on product security engineering, including static code analysis using Coverity, vulnerability assessment and remediation, secure coding practices, and improving the security posture of carrier-grade telecom software.
Your tasks
- Analyzing and remediating software vulnerabilities identified through Coverity or similar static code analysis tools within a 5G gNB solution
- Developing and maintaining secure, high-performance C/C++ applications on Linux following secure coding best practices
- Troubleshooting complex software issues across the 5G RAN protocol stack while ensuring system stability and low-latency performance
- Collaborating with development, architecture, and QA teams to implement robust, scalable, and telecom-grade software solutions
- Ensuring software quality through code reviews, debugging, regression prevention, and adherence to security and coding standards
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development with strong expertise in C/C++ development on Linux
- Good understanding of OS concepts, memory management, multithreading, IPC
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and secure coding skills
- Hands-on experience with Coverity or a similar static code analysis tool
- Understanding of 5G RAN architecture (CU/DU) and protocol layers, including RRC, NGAP, XnAP, PDCP, RLC, and MAC
- Fluent English communication skills
- Immediate joiners are preferred
Nice to have
- Experience in telecom product development (4G/5G)
- Familiarity with Git, GDB, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies
