Senior Software Development Engineer

Role Overview:

• A Senior Software Development Engineer @ Razorpay is expected to be well-grounded, smart, quality-focused, and business-conscious not just a coder.
• You should have very good technical context and experience to write and build quality software.
• Engineering creates a significant impact across different areas, considering the scale of our software product outreach.
• You are also expected to influence the culture of the company and help shape it in the right direction.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Be involved in and drive product & design discussions.
• Help scale our payment infrastructure to get every Indian to pay online.
• Contribute to decisions shaping REST APIs for developers worldwide.
• Contribute to open-source efforts as we set the standards for mobile payments.
• Brainstorm and create new directions that Razorpay can take in our quest to make online payments easy and accessible to all.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in technology.
• A strong product design sense.
• Good experience working with any of the following programming languages: PHP, Python, Django, Golang, Java, C++.
• Ability to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and develop effective solutions.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and web technologies.
• Ability to build a feature from scratch and drive it to completion.
• A willingness to learn new technologies to deliver the best product.
