Senior Software Development Engineer

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will be a lead developer responsible for the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

Design and Develop: Design, implement, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend code using Go, Java,

Node.js, and Python.

Architecture and Scalability: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions for

backend architecture and system scalability.

Database Management: Work with various databases, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity in order to deliver high-

performance backend solutions.

API Development: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs in a micro-services architecture, ensuring seamless integration with

other micro-services and front-end applications.

Code Review: Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and mentor junior developers.

Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, ensuring the best possible performance,

quality, and responsiveness of the backend applications.

Collaboration: Collaborate with front-end developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality

software products.

Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for the backend codebase and APIs.

Owns systems or services end-to-end

Designs complex systems, evaluates trade-offs, and drives architecture decision

Provides guidance to SDE 1/2, mentors team members

EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. (A master's degree is a plus) from a Tier-

1 college.

Experience: 4.5+ years of professional experience as a Back-end Developer with a Product based company.

Technical Skills:

1. Proficiency in at least one programming language among Go, Java, NodeJs and Python.

2. Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.

3. Solid understanding of database technologies, including both SQL and NoSQL databases.

4. Familiarity with microservices architecture.

5. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

6. Knowledge of best practices for code optimization and security.

7. Having knowledge of Kubernetes and container based deployments.

Collaboration and Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a

team environment.

Problem Solving: Proven ability to analyze complex technical problems and propose practical solutions.

Adaptability: Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
