Role Summary
You will be part of a team that builds and maintains enterprise mobile applications powering Delta's operational and customer-facing workflows. As a Software Development Engineer focused on .NET MAUI, you will design, develop, and support cross-platform iOS and Android applications.
You will collaborate with technical leads, product partners, support teams, and leadership to deliver high-quality, performant mobile solutions in an enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI targeting iOS and Android.
- Partner with QA and support teams
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 4 - 7 years of experience in .NET MAUI and/or Xamarin.Forms cross-platform mobile development using C# (.NET 9 preferred).
- Migrating applications from Xamarin.Forms to .NET MAUI
- Diagnosing memory leaks, GC pressure, low-memory crashes, and hardware-specific issues on iOS and Android.
- Mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, dependency injection), async programming, and background task management.
- Offline-first patterns: SQLite persistence, caching strategies, and background synchronization.
- Secure mobile development & troubleshooting practices (GC profiling and Firebase Crashlytics.)

- Mobile app development experience with Airline industry
- Experience with platform-specific native integration
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools in spec driven development environments.
- Experience with xUnit, Moq, and mobile UI automation testing frameworks.
