About the Role:

• Design and development of multiplatform software for securing endpoints on desktops and cloud platforms.
• Gather technical requirements and specifications from customers and stakeholders.
• Develop technical specifications for solutions.
• Deliver solutions that meet timeline, quality, and cost goals for projects.
• Ensure solutions meet preset goals for quality, security, and performance.
• Ensure compliance with responsible disclosure processes.
• Develop strategies for communicating key findings internally and externally.
• Work proactively to ensure applications are resilient and secure.
• Shape and champion the future direction for the business unit to meet client and market needs.
• Inspire teams within the business unit and across functions.
• Research, synthesize, and develop expertise on the cybersecurity landscape and trends.
• Ensure alignment of product strategy with top priorities and key business initiatives.
• Drive initiatives, allocate resources, and achieve joint goals.
• Improve collaboration between technology groups across different geographical locations.
• Mentor and coach the team on database security research to develop a high-performance organization.

About You:

• 5+ years of experience in Database Security.
• Experience in Reverse Engineering, Malware analysis tools, and Exploit methodologies.
• Experience with Database Activity Monitoring products.
• Strong knowledge of database internal architecture.
• Strong understanding of database security for RDBMS and NOSQL databases.
• Up-to-date knowledge on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities targeted at databases.
• Experience in Database Patching (preferred).
• Experience in Python (preferred).
• Participation in Cybersecurity competitions like Capture the Flag or similar (an added advantage).
