About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize USB controller drivers for Alif Semiconductor SoCs
• Develop and maintain USB Host and USB Device functionality
• Develop and validate USB class drivers/applications
• Develop, integrate, and maintain Embedded Linux USB driver, ensuring high performance and reliability
• Work on ARM-based architectures, SoCs, and evaluation boards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and the open-source community to deliver high-quality solutions
• Utilize Git-based version control systems for efficient code management and collaboration
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Knowledge of USB driver development, USB Host and device architecture
• Hands-on experience with USB controller drivers
• Good understanding of USB Stack
• Solid understanding of ARM architecture, SoCs, and board-level bring-up
• Hands-on experience with communication protocols like I2C, SPI, UART
• Strong proficiency in C programming with experience in embedded environments
• Experience working with Git-based workflows
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
  
  

Academic Background

• Years Exp: 5 to 8 years of Embedded Software Development in USB driver
• Academic Background: Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science or Electronics ECE or any other equivalent
