Job Description
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is seeking a
Senior Engineer to join our Routing Assurance team. This role will focus on designing and developing intuitive, high-performance
full-stack applications that empower customers to manage complex routing environments with ease. You will leverage
Python and Go to build robust backend services while crafting seamless web interfaces. Collaborating with product managers, UX designers, and fellow engineers, you will deliver a comprehensive, end-to-end user experience for HPE's next-generation networking solutions.
What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and maintain the Routing Assurance UI using React and other modern WebUI frameworks.
- Translate complex routing workflows into simple, user-friendly interfaces.
- Collaborate with UX teams to ensure consistency, accessibility, and responsiveness across platforms.
- Develop and maintain backend application using Python, Go or Java technologies.
- Integrate UI components with backend APIs and services, ensuring performance and scalability.
- Drive best practices in development, including testing, code reviews, and CI/CD integration.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical design discussions.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend adoption where beneficial.
What You Need To Bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 6+ years of professional experience in front-end development with a strong focus on React.
- Experience in backend development with at least 3+ years specifically using Python and Go.
- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
- Experience with state management libraries (Redux, MobX, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices integration.
- Strong understanding of performance optimization and accessibility standards.
- Proven ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with visualization libraries (D3.js, Highcharts, etc.) for network data representation.
- Knowledge of networking concepts and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS) is a plus.
- Exposure to cloud-native environments (Kubernetes, Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright).
- Strong knowledge on relational databases like PostgreSQL as well as NoSQL solutions like MongoDB, Cassandra.
- Hands-on experience in AWS
