Role Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with 7+ years of experience to join our engineering team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise-grade applications. You will drive technical decisions, mentor engineers, optimize system performance, and collaborate closely with product, business, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance software applications.

Lead architecture discussions and contribute to long-term technical strategy.

Build and maintain robust backend services, APIs, and distributed systems.

Review code, enforce engineering best practices, and ensure high code quality.

Mentor junior and mid-level developers through technical guidance and code reviews.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root cause analysis.

Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, system monitoring, and cloud infrastructure improvements.

Qualifications

7+ years of professional software development experience.

Strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals including Data Structures, Algorithms, System Design, and Design Patterns.

Expert-level proficiency in Python and Object-Oriented Programming.

Extensive experience in Backend Development and building large-scale enterprise applications.

Strong understanding of databases, API design, performance optimization, and software architecture.

Experience working with cloud platforms and modern development practices.

Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with the Frappe Framework and ERP solutions.

Exposure to AI-powered applications, SaaS products, and multi-tenant architectures.

Experience with DevOps practices, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native deployments.

Prior experience leading teams or owning technical initiatives.
