Senior Software Developer - Build AI That Clones and Migrates Websites

What You'll Build:

We build AI that migrates, generates, and manages websites for small and medium businesses - automated website cloning, AI-driven site generation, and AI-powered marketing tools. Under the hood that means:

This is not a we're adding a chatbot AI role. The AI work is the product, and you'll own production systems end to end - architecture decisions, code reviews, and mentoring included.

The Role:

Senior Software Developer · Full-time · Tambaram, Chennai (office-based)

What You'll Do:

- Lead of passionate team of Jr Developers

- Architect and build microservices in TypeScript (Node.js) and Java, deployed on Cloud Run.

- Build frontend applications with Next.js 15+ (App Router), React 19, and Server Components.

- Design RESTful APIs, background job pipelines and event-driven architectures.

- Own database design and optimization on PostgreSQL (we use Prisma and GORM) and Firestore for real-time features.

- Maintain CI/CD with Cloud Build, Docker, and automated Cloud Run deployments.

- Review code, set standards, and mentor junior developers.

- Ship iteratively in short sprints; make build-vs-buy calls on third-party tools.

What We Need (Required)

- 5+ years of professional software development experience.

- Strong TypeScript, plus working proficiency in Go or Java.

- Deep, hands-on React + Next.js experience (App Router, Server Components, API Routes).

- Solid PostgreSQL experience; comfort with a modern ORM.

- Track record designing and shipping RESTful APIs / microservices to production.

- Docker and cloud experience on any major cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure) — we're on GCP, and we'll get you up to speed on Cloud Run, Cloud Tasks, and Secret Manager fast.

- Strong fundamentals: data structures, system design, clean and well-tested code.

Bonus Points (Any of These Moves You Up the List)

- Shipped features built on LLM APIs (Claude, Gemini, OpenAI) — structured outputs, tool use, vision, or RAG.

- Playwright/Puppeteer browser automation.

- WordPress/Elementor ecosystem and REST API.

- Stripe or other payment integrations; Clerk or similar auth platforms.

- Shopify or e-commerce platform integrations.

- GraphQL, Pub/Sub or other message queues, Jest/Vitest/Cypress.

- Startup experience - you've worn multiple hats and shipped fast.

- Team Management Experience
