Role Overview
The Senior Social Media Manager will lead the overall social media strategy and execution for Rajasthan Patrika's digital platforms. The role requires a strong understanding of content trends, audience behavior, platform algorithms, creator culture, and performance analytics. The ideal candidate should be capable of building engaging campaigns while balancing brand growth, audience engagement, and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead end-to-end social media strategies aligned with brand and business goals
- Manage and grow Rajasthan Patrika's presence across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and emerging social platforms
- Plan and execute content calendars, campaigns, launches, and always-on social initiatives
- Collaborate closely with design, editorial, video, influencer, and performance marketing teams to create impactful social-first campaigns
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, audience behavior, engagement trends, and platform insights to optimize results continuously
- Lead community engagement and ensure timely, brand-consistent communication across all social platforms
- Stay updated with social media trends, platform updates, memes, creator culture, and competitor activities
- Manage social media budgets, paid promotions, influencer collaborations, and creator partnerships where required
- Present campaign strategies, growth plans, and performance reports to leadership and stakeholders
- Mentor and guide junior social media team members while building strong internal processes and creative standards
Eligibility & Experience
- 7–10 years of hands-on experience in social media marketing, digital marketing, or brand communication
- Proven experience managing social media for media houses, consumer brands, startups, agencies, or high-growth businesses
- Strong understanding of platform algorithms, audience engagement strategies, content planning, and analytics
- Excellent copywriting, storytelling, and creative thinking skills
- Experience working with creators, influencers, production teams, and digital campaigns
- Ability to balance brand-building initiatives with performance-driven outcomes
- Strong analytical mindset with hands-on experience in tools such as Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or similar platforms
- Comfortable handling multiple campaigns and fast-paced priorities
- Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities
Preferred Skills
- Experience in media, news, publishing, or content-driven organizations will be an added advantage
- Understanding of Hindi-speaking digital audiences and regional content trends
- Knowledge of performance marketing and paid social campaigns
- Strong sense of digital culture, viral content formats, and audience psychology
