Job Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Snowflake Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake, SQL, Python, ETL/ELT, and data pipeline development, along with recent hands-on experience in the Mortgage domain.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data solutions for complex mortgage-related datasets in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Snowflake and related technologies.
• Develop complex and optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations.
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines using Python and modern data engineering practices.
• Work with mortgage domain data, including loan origination and/or loan servicing datasets.
• Perform data integration, transformation, validation, and quality checks across multiple sources.
• Design and implement efficient data models and pipeline architectures in Snowflake.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand complex data requirements.
• Support data reporting and analytics requirements by ensuring accurate and reliable datasets.
• Troubleshoot data pipeline issues and optimize performance in production environments.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years of overall experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL.
• Strong programming experience with Python.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes and data integration.
• Strong understanding of Data Pipeline Architecture and Development.
• Experience in Data Transformation, Data Integration, and Data Reporting.
• Recent hands-on Mortgage domain experience is mandatory.
• Experience with Loan Origination or Loan Servicing data is required.
• Strong experience working with complex datasets in a production environment.

Good to Have

• Experience with Mortgage Payments and Escrow data.
• Understanding of Mortgage Underwriting processes and datasets.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms.
• Knowledge of modern data warehouse and data engineering architecture.
